The patented design of this unit improves grinder efficiency The Annihilator (photo) is a twin-shaft, solids-reduction unit designed for a variety of industrial and municipal installations, including sewage lift stations, head works and sludge processing systems. The unit’s counter-rotating, hexagonal-shaft design coupled with its five-tooth, hardened-steel cutters provide the maximum shredding strength necessary to process from 300 to 4,250 gal/min of influent. It is offered in various drive, housing, cutter, spacer/cutter and shaft options, and is available with 3 to 5 hp motors. An electronic control panel offers protection from overload.
