Horiba Scientific

Horiba Scientific

This company has added four new detectors to its CLUE (cathodo-luminescence universal extension) series for use with scanning electron microscopes (SEM) in materials science, mineralogy and biotechnology applications. According to the manufacturer, they interface with any SEM, are fully automated and modular, and offer the widest spectral range available. The new models include the R-Clue, which combines cathodoluminescence, Raman spectroscopy and photoluminescence within one compact fiber-coupled solution. The H-Clue model includes direct optical coupling and high-resolution spectrometry. — Horiba Scientific, Edison, N.J.
