An improved vacuum pump has a longer service life, and more

The new two-stage DuoLine rotary-vane vacuum pumps feature a newly developed pump system with optimized cooling. These changes have a significant impact on the pump’s service life, says the manufacturer. The long maintenance intervals, the energy-efficient motors and the optional oil return are said to lower the operating costs to “a very low level.” The integrated, hydraulically controlled high-vacuum safety valve increases reliability. The DuoLine pumps are offered with a conventional radial shaft-sealing ring or with a magnetic coupling. The DuoLine covers numerous applications in the low- to medium-vacuum range. — Pfeiffer Vacuum GmbH, Aßlar, Germany
