Monitor challenging materials in silos with this scanning device

The new 3D Level Scanner HC is designed for level and volume measurement in bins, tanks and silos for harsh, corrosive or otherwise challenging materials. The scanner features self-cleaning technology and the ability to infiltrate large amounts of dust and take measurements from various points within a vessel, which allows it to perform reliably in harsh environments. Operators can manage silos in realtime through software or machine interfaces. The device’s three-dimensional mapping capability and acoustics-based monitoring technology enhance measurement accuracy and allow the device to detect uneven powder or material surfaces. Useful for the storage of difficult-to-handle materials, such as quick lime, ammonia, acids, oils, fertilizers, resins, industrial fibers and salts, this scanner provides a monitoring solution without requiring personnel to climb into vessels. — BinMaster, Lincoln, Neb.
