These multiplexers transmit up to 16 channels

MX Series multiplexers are designed to transmit up to 16 channels of bi-directional electrical information over a pair of fiber optic cables with no programming required. The new multiplexers feature input and output module selection that include 4-20 mA, 0-10 V d.c. contact closure. The MX Base Unit connects directly to the fiber optic cable and provides a visual indication of the fiber link status. Installation of the MX Series does not require an engineer, and the multiplexers carry the relevant certifications for use in hazardous environments, making it ideal for applications that include remote data acquisition and signal transmission in lightning-prone locations and hazardous areas. — Ultra Electronics, NSPI, Round Rock, Tex.
