This PID controller for the temperature- and process-control markets

The PAX2C PID (proportional integral derivative) controller is specifically designed for industrial automation in the process- and temperature-control markets. The product is the latest addition to this company’s PAX2 Series, and it includes a number of flexible, easy-to-use features to help customers improve productivity and drive efficiency on the production line. The new features of the PAX2C model include field-installable, plug-in option cards that simplify configuration by enabling operators to seamlessly use different cards to build their own controllers. Other key features are a universal power supply that accepts a.c. or d.c. power, a dual-line, tri-color display to view alarm conditions and a design that allows easy software updates. — Red Lion Controls, York, Pa.
