This system aids in dry-powder discharge from bins or silos

The Promo-Flow Discharge Aid consists of an internally mounted screen and an externally mounted vibrating apparatus that is designed to aid in the discharge of dry powders from silos and bins. The vibrating element transmits vibration directly into the product, preventing bridging and segregation of materials during discharge. The vibration activates the screens, which are located inside the vessel at points where flow problems occur. Rubber isolation mounts attach the Promo-Flow discharge system to the silo, preventing leakage through the mounting holes. The whole unit is allowed to vibrate the product while contributing no vibration to the silo itself. — Kemutec USA, Brisol, Pa.
