Biesterfeld France Produits Speフ…iaux EURL aquires SMPC Production

Biesterfeld France Produits Speフ…iaux EURL (Rueil-Malmaison near Paris, France), the French subsidiary of Biesterfeld Spezialchemie GmbH (Hamburg, Germany;, has acquired the French company SMPC Production located in St. Ouen l‘Aumone with effect from April, 2013. Name and headquarters of SMPC Production will remain the same. SMPC Production, founded in June 1992, is a compounder for silicone elastomers and specialized in compounding customer-specific products.
“The acquisition of SMPC Production is consistently strengthening our competence in the silicone elastomer business and enables us to meet customers’ requirements even more specifically. With this compounding facility in our organization we have built up an own competence center for this product group, which we will use for the whole European market. We are on the way to be the number one distributor for silicone elastomers in Europe,” explains Thomas Arnold, managing director of Biesterfeld Spezialchemie GmbH.
