Gerald Ondrey

Eurecat S.A. (La Voulte-Sur-Rhone, France; and Tricat Industries Inc. (Tricat; McAlester, Okla.) are pleased to announce that Eurecat has just acquired all of the outstanding shares of Tricat, under the terms of a Merger Agreement, with immediate effect. After the merger, Tricat will be renamed Eurecat Services Inc., an Oklahoma corporation, fully owned by Eurecat S.A.

Following this acquisition, Eurecat’s processing capabilities for catalyst regeneration, rejuvenation, pre-reclaim burn off, sulfiding, pre-activation and catalyst or additives toll manufacturing will be greatly enhanced with the addition of two industrial sites: Tricat Inc., located in McAlester, Olka. and Tricat GmbH Catalyst Service Bitterfeld, based in Bitterfeld, Germany. In addition, Eurecat’s marketing capabilities for specialty zeolites and additives will be strengthened with the Tricat acquisition.

Eurecat will now be in a position to offer a larger portfolio of customized solutions to customers throughout the world, whether for the management of spent or fresh catalysts, or for the manufacturing or sales of specialty products.

It is expected that the full integration of the Tricat facilities and capabilities will take place very rapidly during the first quarter of 2013, with the establishment of one unique combined team for sales, customer service and R&D both in U.S. and Europe, and the standardization of all manufacturing and quality control practices.
