Jacobs awarded contract for Honeywell project in China

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (Pasadena, CAlif.; has received a contract from Honeywell International Inc. (Morristown, N.J.; to provide Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT) services for a new production project in Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province, the People’s Republic of China. The contract value was not disclosed.
Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is providing IPMT services, including basic and detailed design, permitting, project controls, quality, health, safety and environmental management, procurement, and construction management services, with the option to provide commissioning and start-up support as required. The plant is scheduled to start up in the fourth quarter of 2014.
