LIST completes new global demonstration center

Gerald Ondrey

LIST AG (Arisdorf, Switzerland; www.list.ch) announces completion of its global Demonstration Center in Arisdorf, Switzerland. Located adjacent to the company’s World Headquarters, the fully automated LIST Demonstration Center (LDC) is specifically designed for the development and testing of processing solutions for the devolatilization and finishing of elastomers and rubbers.

The new state-of-the-art facility (photo below) is equipped with a fully instrumented and automated, computer-controlled system that allows customers to test the production efficiency of LIST technology using various materials and products. Specifically, the LDC allows customers to work with LIST engineers in conducting tests for feasibility, Proof of Concept, production efficiency and product quality, as well as the reliability of individual solution designs.

The LDC also serves as a valuable training facility providing customers hands-on experience with their process and the latest safety protocols.

The new LDC enables LIST to continue strengthening relationships with its customers. Since the company’s inception, it has viewed product development as a partnership, with customers providing specific product expertise and LIST adding its processing expertise. The LCD is staffed by a team of engineers who are all specially trained to identify and resolve process challenges quickly, efficiently and cost effectively. It operates using the latest standards of environmental protection, health, and safety.
