Sandvik expands its sulfur technology portfolio
Sandvik Process Systems (SPS; Fellbach, Germany; www.processsystems.sandvik.com), a world leading supplier of sulfur processing & handling solutions for the oil-and-gas industry, has expanded its product portfolio by purchasing the proprietary technology and knowhow of the Brimrock Group Inc. (Calgary, Canada). SPS has also reached agreements with current Brimrock employees to become a part of the SPS Global Sulfur Organization while continuing operations out of Calgary, Canada.
This addition significantly extends Sandvik’s offering to the sulfur market, including liquid sulfur degassing, block pouring, remelting, granulation, prilling and other services.
Sandvik Process Systems engineering capabilities extends to full turnkey systems, from acceptance of molten sulfur direct from the sulfur recovering unit (SRU) through to bulk storage and truck, rail and ship-loading facilities.
Sandvik Process Systems engineering and products services capabilities now fits anything from small sulfur removal projects to large-scale projects, giving the company a unique position for providing sulfur processing and handling solutions.
