Sika opens new plant in Goiás, Brazil

Mary Page Bailey

Sika AG (Baar, Switzerland; has opened a new plant in Aparecida de Goiânia, state of Goiás, mid-western Brazil, which is the seventh plant in this country. The new plant will supply the construction industry in Goiás, one of the fastest-growing states in Brazil, with concrete admixtures and mortars. The latest investment complements Sika’s supply chain, which covers the entire Brazilian market.
The new plant brings Sika closer to its customer base in the mid-west of Brazil. Increased customer proximity and higher logistics efficiency help meet the increasing demand for products in the construction markets, mostly concrete admixtures, waterproofing systems and grouts.
