The preliminary value for the CE Plant Cost Index (CEPCI) for April 2025 (most recent available) rose slightly compared to the previous month’s value. Since 1963, the chemical process industries (CPI) have used Chemical Engineering‘s Plant Cost Index (CEPCI) to adjust process plant construction costs from one period to another.
