DuPont (Wilmington, Del.) announced the successful completion of a significant expansion for photoresist manufacturing capacity at the DuPont Sasakami Site in Agano-shi, Niigata, Japan. Lanxess AG (Cologne, Germany) signed a contract to sell its Urethane Systems business to UBE Corp. (Tokyo). The enterprise value amounts to €460 million with expected proceeds of around €500 million. With this transaction Lanxess exits the last remaining polymer business.
