The Micropilot radar series (photo) is designed to maximize simplicity in level measurement. Each measuring device in the product family is suitable for level measurement in both liquids and solids. Ideal for most level applications in the water and wastewater industry, as well as in the mining, minerals and metals industry, this device is designed for fast commissioning and easy operation. Setup sequences with help texts and illustrations guide users through the process. A digital assistant enables even new technicians to commission an instrument in under three minutes and guide users through in-situ verifications. In addition, the devices can be easily and reliably operated via remote access through a smartphone or tablet or directly on the device by using the color touch display. These radar sensors handle a range of challenges, such as weather extremes, flooding, foam formation, dust, variable media or grain sizes, while still delivering reliable results.
