These waste hoppers have a pinless design

Traditional waste-hopper designs include pins to align the hopper for dumping, but pins often break off, creating misalignment. This company’s self-dumping, pinless rocker design keeps hoppers on track for smooth dumping (photo). The standard-duty models feature a formed channel top with corners reinforced by metal rods. The heavy-duty version of the hoppers features a wraparound welded lip on its back corners to enhance structural integrity, and a welded reinforcing angle along the top edge, as well as an additional gusset for strength. Standard hoppers have capacities up to 6,000 lb., while heavy-duty designs have capacities up to 7,000 lb. The hoppers handle a variety of scrap materials, including wood, metal, paper, plastic and more. — Iron Bull Manufacturing, Marshall, Ind.
