The preliminary value for the CE Plant Cost Index (CEPCI; top) for November 2025 (most recent available) rose slightly compared to the previous month’s value. It was the third consecutive monthly increase since August, and the ninth monthly increase since November 2024. The uptick in the November CEPCI was a result of increases in the Equipment and Engineering & Supervsion subindices. The Buildings subindex dipped slightly, while the Construction Labor subindex was essentially flat compared to the previous month. The current CEPCI value now sits at 5.8% higher than the corresponding value from November 2024.
