Treating parts with tantalum to resist corrosion

This company’s tantalum treated parts offer superior corrosion resistance that can extend the life of an array of parts, including valves, fittings, autoclaves, process chambers, flow reactors, fasteners, mixers, flowmeters and medical devices, as well as other parts that are prone to corrosion when subjected aggressive chemical environments. This company uses a Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) process used to produce a uniform tantalum layer that conforms to complex geometries and adheres to the substrate through diffusion bonding. These treated parts offer higher-temperature corrosion resistance when compared to other anti-corrosion treatments Booth 754 — Tantaline, Central Islip, N.Y.
