The aBP-Module (photo) is an intelligent feeding system for progressing cavity pumps for the prevention of bridging. It consists of a top hopper with two inner spoked wheels, which create the effect of moving hopper walls that impart a shearing effect in the medium. The speed difference of the independently adjustable spoked wheels creates the required shearing effect, thereby preventing bridging inside the hopper.
