This company has optimized its existing induration technology, offering and launched its Compact-sized Pellet Plant (photo). The plant design is based on a 3-m wide indurating machine, building on the state-of-the-art design of the company’s larger (4-m wide) product range. The new compact plant offers the same plant performance and product quality as the larger-size plants. Three standard sizes (capacities) are offered: 189 m2 (1.2–1.5 million metric tons per year (m.t./yr)); 288 m2 (1.7–2.3 million m.t./yr); and 315 m2 (2.0–2.6 million m.t./yr). — Metso Outotec Corp., Helsinki, Finland
