A Line of Gas Detectors for Refrigerants

| By Chemical Engineering

Well suited to industrial refrigeration-engine rooms, cold-storage rooms, processing rooms, truck docks, and relief-valve vent lines, this firm’s new line of gas detectors are intended to detect a range of gases either used as refrigerants or in the process of refrigeration, such as NH 3, CO 2, HFCs, HCFCs, CFCs and hydrocarbons. The line includes as standard model (photo), a gas alert system model (GAS), and an extreme environment gas sensor for harsh environments, defined as above 95% relative humidity. — Hansen Technologies, Burr Ridge, Ill.
