A portable low-pressure steam generator with high throughput

By Chemical Engineering |

The Steam-Flo SF-50 steam generator provides a portable source for low-pressure steam. The SF-50 features a 50 horsepower boiler unit and is capable of producing up to 1,725 lb/h (782 kg/h) of saturated steam vapor, operating at 15 psi. Available with diesel-fuel or natural-gas fired burners, this generator can be used in many applications, including accelerating curing processes or heating aggregates in concrete operations, degassing tanks and thawing frozen pipes. This generator can be utilized in stationary or trailer-mounted configurations, or as a self-contained package, with many custom options available. — Sioux Corp., Beresford, S.D.
