The Model FT4A thermal mass flowmeter (photo) is designed for monitoring pure gases, mixed gases and complex flare-gas compositions. Three onboard gas-selection menus encompass numerous configuration options. The meter features non-cantilevered advanced sensor technology that eliminates sensor element vibration, which can potentially cause metal fatigue or failure. Also available with these instruments is the CAL-V in-situ calibration validation routine, which allows users to quickly confirm that the meter is functioning properly.
