This aerator eliminates carryover contaminants

By Chemical Engineering |

kinetic cloudThe Kinetic Turbo Aerator provides aeration for industries that require high-quality air processing, such as wastewater treatment, food and beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical processing. The Kinetic Turbo Aerator uses a single shaft coupling the impeller and direct-drive high-speed permanent magnet motor, eliminating oil-carryover contaminants in the air-compression process to comply with ISO 8573 and ISO 12500 quality standards. With only one moving part, these aerators are equipped with magnetic bearings and controls, battery backup power, as well as touchdown bearings, providing shutdown control in the case of a utility power interruption. The aerator offers 60% flow turndown. — Kinetic Traction Systems, Inc., Chatworth, Calif.
