The FSA’s recently launched we
bsite feature, KnowledgeBase (www.fsaknowledgebase.org), provides content and informational videos as a service for manufacturers and users of mechanical seals. This digital knowledge base provides easy navigation to key information to educate and inform users of best practices for safe, reliable and cost-effective operation of mechanical seals, including guidelines for proper specification, applications and maintenance, as well as equipment design and materials of construction. Although the KnowledgeBase is currently focused on mechanical seals, the FSA plans to expand the feature and load content into three additional subject repositories covering gaskets, pump and valve packings and expansion joints.
