The magnetic agitators of the BMR Series (photo) meet all requirements that exist today for GMP-compliant production. The open design of the magnetic impeller permits cleaning in place (CIP), as demonstrated by independent studies carried out by the Swiss University in Wädenswil, in accordance with the three methods European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group, total organic carbon (TOC), and riboflavin. The generous dimensions and material combination (silicon carbide on zirconium oxide) of the ceramic sleeve bearing offer the longest operating lifetime, says the manugfacturer.
