BASF selects PAS as its global alarm management software provider

PAS (Houston, Tex.; www.pas.com), a global leader in alarm management software and consulting services for the process industries, announced today that BASF (Ludwigshafen, Germany; www.basf.com) has selected its alarm management software for their enterprise-wide alarm management initiative. The agreement enables BASF to deploy PAS’ PlantState Suite software throughout BASF operating facilities worldwide.

PlantState Suite, a comprehensive realtime alarm management software suite, includes alarm & event data collection and analysis, performance metrics manager, documentation and rationalization, state-based alarm handling, flood suppression, alarm shelving, as well as an audit & enforce feature to keep alarm systems performing optimally.
