Controlled crystallization now possible from R&D to pilot scale

By Chemical Engineering |

Syrris

In March, this firm signed an exclusive agreement with Prosonix. By combining Prosonix’s ultrasound technology with the Atlas jacketed reactor platform, the Atlas SonoLab SL10 sonocrystallizer enables the reproducible control of crystallizations and allows selectivity of parameters, such as particle size, shape, crystallinity and polymorphism. The Sonolab System delivers advanced control of nucleation and growth rate, and provides the basis for ultrasound experiments and a seamless transition from laboratory to pilot plants at scales ranging from 100 mL to 100 L. — Syrris Ltd., Royston, U.K.
