The new range of EDS dry screw vacuum pumps (photo) feature tapered variable-pitch dry screw housed in a modern outer enclosure. Available in water-cooled and air-blasted variants, the EDS range has high-performance contaminant-handling capabilities in the harshest industrial conditions and dirtiest industrial installations. The pumps’ high tolerance for particulate matter makes them particularly safe and flexible for challenging applications in the fine-chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing industries. EDS pumps can be easily configured for hazardous-area installations and are certified for global explosion standards.
