DuPont opens flexographic solutions technology center in Delaware

| By Mary Bailey

DuPont (Wilmington, Del.) announced that DuPont™ Cyrel® Flexographic Solutions, one of the world’s leading flexographic platemaking systems providers, opened its state-of the-art Customer Technology Center (CTC) at the DuPont Experimental Station in Wilmington. The new site reflects the Cyrel® business’ commitment to work closely with its customers and strengthen the future of the flexo industry.

“We are proud to officially open the Cyrel® Customer Technology Center to serve as a collaborative space designed to allow customers, partners, and our own experts to come together to test, learn, innovate, and push what’s possible in flexographic printing,” said Tucker Norton, Vice President and General Manager for DuPont Printing & Films. “From plate technologies to workflows and services, our aim is to help our customers do more — with confidence, consistency, and responsibility.”

The opening of the CTC was commemorated with a welcome reception at Hagley and a ceremonial ribbon-cutting at the Experimental Station. Lori Koch, DuPont Chief Executive Officer, Beth Ferreira, President, Diversified Industrials, Nolan Dzielak, North American Commercial Leader and Serena Stephenson, Director of Innovation joined Tucker Norton along with industry partners and guests at the event.

As part of the CTC opening, DuPont™ Cyrel® Flexographic Solutions officially launched its latest innovative solution, DuPont™ Cyrel® ReNew. The new plate family reflects DuPont’s continued focus on sustainability, offering flexographic plates made with more than 50% of the raw materials attributed to ISCC certified renewable sources, without compromising product performance.

The first product of the new family of plates is the Cyrel® ReNew LSH. The plate brings the LED exposure technology from Cyrel® Lightning, while reducing the product’s carbon footprint through the application of the mass balance methodology. As a plug-and-play solution, Cyrel® ReNew LSH delivers the same high-quality print performance as conventional Cyrel® Lightning LSH plates.

DuPont will showcase Cyrel® ReNew and its complete business portfolio at the 2026 FTA Forum Infoflex taking place April 26–29, 2026 at the Baird Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. DuPont is an official Presenting Partner at the tradeshow and will be located at Booth #818.
