The MV Multi-Trap Vacuum Inlet Trap is a high-capacity vacuum inlet trap designed for plastic extrusion processes that removes volatile materials, which can damage the pump. The trap features all 304 stainless-steel construction with a full first-stage knockdown baffle, a second stage of stainless-steel gauze filters and a bottom cooling option. Designed to protect vacuum pumps from failures caused by volatile extrusion byproducts, it is field-proven to extend vacuum pump life by over 12 years. Suited for extruded plastic and composite processes, the MV Multi-Trap Vacuum Inlet Trap is offered in 10-, 12-, and 16-in. dia. models for pump capacities over 2,000 ft3/min.
