ExxonMobil starts up advanced recycling unit in Baytown

ExxonMobil Corp. (Houston, Tex.) announced that it third advanced recycling unit at the copmany’s complex in Baytown, Texas, is now operational, a milestone that demonstrates our focus on addressing plastic waste and fostering a more circular economy.

With this addition, Baytown has the capacity to process up to ~250 million pounds of plastic waste annually, and ExxonMobil says it is on track to reach approximately 450 million pounds of annual advanced recycling capacity at its global facilities by year-end 2026
