This company’s Model 634 portable filter-cart system (photo) is now capable of filtering particles down to 0.004 mm (4 μm). This system is suitable for many varieties of industrial fluids, including lubricants, quenching fluids, coolants, synthetic oils and petroleum-based fluids, says the manufacturer. The filter cart’s 16-in. rubber wheels and ruggedized steel-frame construction allow it to be easily transported. It can be pushed, pulled or lifted by crane or forklift. The Model 634 features an industrial-grade 5-gal/min internal gear pump, making it capable of handling a broad range of fluids. True three-tooth engagement between the rotor and pinion extends the service life of the pump and allows for pumping of higher-viscosity lubricants and gear oils. — Kaman Distribution, Bloomfield, Conn.
