The HyPerforma Single-Use Mixers (photo) are compact mixers that are designed to support large-scale cell-culture production and bioprocessors, from scaleup through Current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMP). They are fully functional, single-use mixing vessels, featuring sterile contact surfaces for mixing, venting capabilities and temperature sensing. Additional ports allow for aseptic connections for filling, emptying and sampling. Sterile bags are easily loaded through a vertical access door. These mixers feature a patented mixing system that provides conventional overhead mixing while maintaining sterility and integrity, says the company. A three-load-cell weighing system ensures accurate weight monitoring of individual batches. They are designed to provide optimized tubing management, advanced clean-in-place sterilization capabilities, rapid setup, reduced turnaround time, and streamlined handling of hazardous materials.
