More physics means more applications with this CFD software STAR-CCM+ Version 6.04 is this company’s latest release of its CFD- (computational fluid dynamics) focused engineering simulation software (photo). The new release aims to: further expand the application coverage through the addition of new, validated physics; to further improve quality, robustness and speed of the meshing technology; and to enhance usability of 3D-CAD (computer-aided design), the surface-preparation tools, the CAD clients and the visualization capabilities. For example, heat and mass transfer between phases have been added to the Existing Eulerian multiphase capabilities.
