New mobile data entry devices for logistics applications
This company is adding to its product portfolio with two new mobile-data-entry (MDE) devices from the Rockscan A260 series. The devices run on Android 14, offer battery runtimes of up to 16 hours and enable a scanning range of up to 14 m. They also feature a 6.5-in. multi-touch display with glove mode and offer all-round protection in accordance with protection class IP67 for demanding applications in logistics or parcel delivery. According to the manufacturer, the Rockscan A260 series was designed as a reliable and robust tool for logistics, warehousing, transportation and delivery services. The products’ housing meets the IP67 protection class, is impact-resistant from a height of 2 m and thus exceeds the requirements of the MIL-STD-810H standard. The Rockscan A260 series consists of two models: Rockscan A260 and Rockscan A265. The Rockscan A260 supports 4G-LTE, while the Rockscan A265 is equipped with 5G for particularly fast data connections. Both models feature Assisted GPS for navigation.
