Variable-frequency drives designed for ease-of-use
The EZ VFD® family of variable-frequency drives (photo) for¼- to 2-horsepower (hp) applications are feature-rich models designed for ease of installation and usage. They are plug-and-play for most applications and include easily adjusted trimpots for fine-tuning. Dual-voltage input and 230-V a.c. three-phase, 0–60 Hz output allows use in a wide range of applications. A 0–5-V d.c. follower-speed adjustment allows precise speed control. Built-in safety features include overload protection for current and temperature, anti-coast deceleration and motor braking. The EZ VFDs provide precise speed control and efficiency, making them ideal for conveyors, fans, blowers, pumps, compressors and more. Compact and powerful EZ VFD models feature standard control inputs, including speed adjustment, forward/reverse and run/stop. They operate in a wide range of temperatures, from –10 to 35°C for NEMA 4X enclosures, and from –10 to 45°C for chassis models.
