Foster Wheeler wins EPC contract for new coker in Argentina

Foster Wheeler AG (Zug, Switzerland; www.fwc.com) says that a subsidiary of its Global Engineering and Construction Group has been awarded a contract by Axion Energy Argentina S.A., a subsidiary of Bridas Corp., to provide engineering and procurement (EPC) services for a new delayed coking unit based on Foster Wheeler’s SYDEC delayed-coking technology, to be installed at the Campana Refinery in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. The Foster Wheeler contract value was not disclosed and was included in the company’s third-quarter 2013 bookings.
