The Lubrizol Corp. (Cleveland, Ohio) and Grasim Industries Ltd. (Mumbai, India) have inaugurated a state-of-art Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) resin manufacturing facility’s Phase 1 annual production capacity of 50,000 metric tons at Grasim’s Chlor alkali complex in Vilayat, Gujarat, India.
The project strengthens domestic manufacturing capability in CPVC resin, which is used in plumbing, water management, fire safety and industrial piping applications. The facility is expected to support growing demand from infrastructure and building materials segments.
