Handle high velocities with this vibratory classifier

| By Scott Jenkins

Capable of separating up to 70 ton/h of bulk solids, the new version of this company’s Vibroscreen classifier is said to the be industry’s largest. The high-capacity, two-deck classifer measures 100 in. in diameter, and can be used for classifying bulk chemicals, minerals, plastics, food, pharmaceuticals, solids-laden slurries and more. The classifier contains two horizontal screens located one above the other in a vertical cylindrical housing that is supported on a circular base. Clamps between each screen frame that are designed for quick-disconnect provide rapid access to the interior of the classifier for cleaning and screen changes. — Kason Corp., Millburn, N.J.
