The latest addition to the Rotoform flagship chemical-solidification technology range is the Rotoform XG, a high-capacity pastillation system for fertilizer finishing. Designed for applications such as sulfur bentonite and urea mixes, as well as NPK (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) and other fertilizers, this new model can convert melts containing solid particles into consistent, high-quality pastilles from 2–4 mm diameter. Offering twice the throughput rates of the base model Rotoform 4G, the XG is capable of processing slurries with melt viscosities lower than 100 mPas. It incorporates productivity-enhancing innovations, including a sliding base frame for easy access, a new stator design for much easier cleaning and maintenance, and a new bearing system with fewer parts and increased wear resistance. — IPCO AB, Sandviken, Sweden
