IMCD Group B.V. (Rotterdam, The Netherlands; www.imcdgroup.com) announces it has acquired Singapore-based Paceco Industrial Supplies Pte. Ltd., a distributor for engineering and specialty plastics. Established in 1985, the company is active in Singapore, China and Malaysia and currently employs 28 staff who will all transfer to IMCD. IMCD’s latest acquisition demonstrates the importance of China and Southeast Asia in its growth and development strategy. With stock in Singapore, Malaysia and China, the company offers a wide range of engineering and specialty plastic materials to industries including electronics, connectors, food packaging, medical device, home appliances, consumer goods, toys, building, wire & cable, automotive, aerospace and military.
