Innovations Metals plans centralized rare-earth separation plant

| By Dorothy Lozowski

Innovation Metals Corp. (Toronto, Canada; www.innovationmetals.com) has announced the submission of a Project Notice to the Province of Quebec, to start the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process for a new rare-earth-element separation facility. The Becancour Waterfront Industrial Park in Quebec was chosen as the future home of the facility, which will focus on the production of critical rare earths. Innovation Metals Corp. is a private Canadian-based company founded in 2011. Its goal is to alleviate the bottleneck that has formed in the rare-earth supply chain, through the creation of the world’s first independent, centralized rare-earth separation facilities, to be located in Becancour, Quebec
