Larox to supply filters to Chempolis demo plant

Larox Corp. (Lappeenranta, Finland; www.larox.com) will deliver two gas-tight Pannevis vacuum belt filters to Chempolis Biorefining Park, CBP, 3rd generation biorefining research and demonstration plant in Oulu, Finland. Chempolis Ltd. (www.chempolis.com) is a leading-edge company in the development and delivery of environmentally sustainable biorefining technologies and production solutions for industrial utilization of non-wood and non-food feedstocks. Earlier in 2008 UPM and Chempolis Ltd signed a license agreement on the use of novel biorefining technology for the production of papermaking fiber and biochemicals. UPM is investigating a possibility to build and industrial biorefinery utilizing agricultural residue in China.
