Lewa-Nikkiso acquires Geveke

Nikkiso Co. (Tokyo, Japan) the manufacturer of fluid control technologies, has acquired Geveke B.V. (Amsterdam, the Netherlands), a sales company and system integrator of industrial pumps and compressors, as a strategic investment at this end of July 2013. Nikkiso is driving its presence in the global oil-and-gas market together with its German subsidiary Lewa GmbH (Leonberg, Germany; www.lewa.com), the manufacturer of metering and process pumps, metering devices and complete systems for fluid metering. Geveke B.V. and its group companies are organized into the divisions Pumps, Compressed Air, and Technical Solutions, the latter of which comprises components and modules for building management technology. With Geveke becoming a member of the Nikkiso group, Lewa-Nikkiso intends to expand its share in the international oil and gas business. Geveke will retain its divisions and the management team in their present form.
The particular strength of Geveke is the design and delivery of integrated systems with pumps and compressors. Geveke’s customer base includes many large and leading conglomerates in the oil and chemical industry.
