A new modular-based separator will make its debut at Achema 2009. This separator can reduce energy consumption by up to 50%, depending on the media and application, says the firm. Also on display will be the complete line of BD-range of high-speed separators that have been especially designed for biodiesel processes, and the SG2 700 decanter for grain-based fuel ethanol processes. Also to be launched is the Culturefuge 400, which expands the portfolio of hermetic, purpose-built cell culture centrifuges.
