Neste Jacobs (Porvoo, Finland, www.nestejacobs.com) and Abu Dhabi based Borouge have signed a long-term contract where Neste Jacobs provides engineering, project management and consultancy (EPMC) Services to Borouge. Under the contract, Neste Jacobs will deliver Borouge specialized services such as studies, design, engineering, project management and support services connected with implementation of projects as well as services related to development of process, automation and plant performance. Borouge produces polyolefins, including polyethylene and polypropylene. Their annual capacity in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi will reach 4.5 million metric tons by 2014. Borouge is owned by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and European-based Borealis.
