This company has debuted a new line of industrial bag filters for gas volumes up to 880,000 actual ft3/min. These bag filters are suitable for the broadest range of dust types, loadings and flow ranges. Bag filter elements consist of a fabric bag, and a support cage which is mounted from the clean gas side. Filter elements fit precisely in the housing, providing a perfect seal against bypass without the use of screws. Incoming gas flows through the textile filter from outside to inside; particulate is retained on the outside. A key advantage is fully optimized distribution of the cleaning energy over the entire filter surface. The bag filters are engineered for low mechanical stress on the filter fabric, a factor which contributes to long service life. Material options include PTFE and PTFE membrane, polyester needlefelt, Nomex, acrylic felt, fiberglass and Aramid felt. The unique design of these vertical, circular bag filters accommodates filter lengths up to 30 ft. Filter elements are easy to handle and are supplied with split cages where indicated.
