EPC and turnkey project management company, Nuberg EPC (New Delhi, India) has been awarded Uzbekistan Hydrogen Peroxide JV LLC’s contract for technology, engineering, and construction of 85-ton/d 50% chemical grade H2O2) Hydrogen Peroxide plant project in Navoi region, Uzbekistan. Nuberg EPC will be the single-point solution company responsible from concept to commissioning of the project. The project is scheduled for an ambitious schedule of 15 months with the supply of engineering and plant equipment.
The hydrogen peroxide technology licensor for the project is EB Nuberg, the Swedish R&D company, specializing in developing technologies for specialty chemicals. EB Nuberg will offer patented, high-yield hydrogen peroxide technology and process design services for the establishment of the facility. The H202 manufacturing plant production process will be based on the latest, state-of-the-art Hydrogen Peroxide technology developed and improvised by EB Nuberg Sweden. The hydrogen peroxide manufacturing process involves most advanced anthraquinone and auto-oxidation of the working solution followed by extraction of crude H2O2 from the working solution with zero discharge. Thus, the plant will comprise three main sections: hydrogenation, oxidation, and extraction.

The contract signing ceremony for the Hydrogen Peroxide plant took place at Tashkent, Uzbekistan in the presence of Mr Jamshid Shakirov (Promoter, UHP), MrSobirkhuja Kasimov (Managing Director, UHP), Mr Zafar Khodjaev (General Director, UHP), Mr AK Tyagi (Managing Director, Nuberg), Mr Sandip Kumar (Business Development, Nuberg) for Intermediate Chemicals and dignitaries from both the companies.
